Les Nuits Osospheres

So this past weekend was the big electronic music festival in Strasbourg. It is actually half electronic music festival half multimedia art show. It was pretty radical. I must admit that no-one quite lived up to the amazing mind-blowing goodness of Architecture in Helsinki and Simian Mobile Disco and they were among the first three bands I saw. There was naturally a great deal of very Euro techno going on. That's not to say that there weren't some sweet acts. Namely GusGus of Iceland, Black Strobe, Klanguage and the Institubes boys. Also for all those concerned: hipsters the world over dress the same (ie brightly coloured athletic wear), although here they have slightly nicer shoes that are a little less weather-ravaged.
